Changes to itinerary – Y6 Residential
Following yesterday’s news that the farm in Northumberland has been sold with immediate effect, Thrills and Skills for Life have devised a new exciting itinerary. The activities are much the same as what was originally booked with a few extras added. The accommodation will now be at Camp House Spennymoor (a Girl Guide facility), which I have been to visit. It is surrounded by woodland, which creates a perfect base for us to explore and enjoy. There are ideal facilities and accommodation (including 2 separate dorms).

|Exploring on a walk around the surroundings at Camp House

Tuesday 12th June
Tree Climbing – large trees within the Camp, suitable for tree climbing with safety harness

Wednesday 13th June

Everything detailed in the itinerary fits into our aim of the trip which is for the children to gain leadership and communication skills, as well as having memorable adventures with their peers. I am sure you will agree this is set to be a successful residential with Thrills and Skills for Life and your children are sure to have a fantastic time.
Transport to and from Camp House, Spennymoor will be provided through Griersons Bus Company (as originally arranged).
Transport for the Climbing Centre has been arranged through Thrills and Skills.
Please can your child arrive at school (main hall) on Monday 11th June at 8.45am so we can ensure we have all the children ready, the bus will leave at approximately 9.15am.
